- Warm, friendly family in Woollahra seeking a caring and professional nanny to support their two children:
B10 - neurodiverse, distance education at home, with additional needs. He requires patient, structured support and a trusted companion during the day.
G7 - attends local school.
WHY THIS ROLE?
Competitive hourly rate: $40-$50 neg.
Stable, predictable hours every Tuesday.
Long-term commitment (12 months+).
Role is varied: learning support, outings, weekly allied health appointment, and after-school activities.
Detailed daily schedule available on request.
Family car provided for school runs and appointments.
Strong focus on rapport – the right person will be a calm, trusted presence and build a genuine connection with our son.
WHAT THE DAY LOOKS LIKE
Morning routine with both children.
School drop-off/pick-up for daughter.
Supporting son’s distance education (scribe, supervise DoE packs - approx 1.5 hours of the day).
Acting as a steady, reliable companion at home.
Library and park visits.
Driving son to a weekly allied health appointment - weekly (scheduled to finish in time for school pick up of D).
Homework help, play and activities after school with D.
Term time - Working alongside an additional support worker who attends during son’s weekly online Neurodiverse social sessions.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Friendly, dependable nanny who enjoys working with school-aged children.
Strong focus on building rapport and trust with a neurodiverse child.
Diploma of Early Childhood Education – highly desired.
Experience with neurodiverse children – highly desired.
All checks required.
Driver’s licence essential (family car provided).
Other info: Dad may work from home in study (out of the way). Grandparents from UK stay Jan-May each year and stay out of the way. No pets currently due to recent passing of family dog. They are a pet loving family so likely dog/cat joining the family within next 12 months. No duties expected around pets.

The family are ideally looking for a start date on the 23rd September and a 12 month commitment.
